COMING TO SCHOOL IN THE MORNING

When children come to school at 8.50am they go straight to their classroom where an adult on duty will supervise them.  For the safety of all adults and children we ask that parents leave the premises as soon as the children are safely in their classroom.

The playgrounds are not supervised before 8.50am so parents are responsible for their child s welfare before this time.  

Arrangements for arrival and collection of children in Reception and Nursery

8.50  Reception parents deliver their children to their classroom

 Nursery parents access the nursery through the KS1/KS2 playground

11.30 Nursery parents access nursery through the KS1/KS2 playground

12.45 Nursery parents access nursery through the KS1/KS2 playground

3.15 Reception parents collect children from the outside door of classrooms

8.50  Parents leave children in their classroom and then leave the premises

8.50  Children are left at the main gates and walk straight to their classroom

Parents of children who have to cross the Millmead Road are asked to ensure that they cross at the crossing patrol situated outside the Millmead gate to avoid the possibility of accidents happening to children on their way to school.

The Road Crossing Patrol is at the Millmead gate from:

Morning session: 8.40-9.10am

Afternoon session 3.00-3.30pm

GATE TIMES

For your child s security the gate situated at the Millmead Road is locked after the start of school and not unlocked until the end of the school day.  Access to the school during the school day is through the gate situated in Tenterden Way.
